RINK Hockey Academy Kelowna is excited to announce that 14 RINK Hockey Academy Athletes have been invited to the BC Hockey Program of Excellence Camp! Of the 14 athletes invited, 4 invites went to Female U-18 camp (Sara Swiderski, Mikayla Blomquist, Sophie McKinley, Brooke Disher) and 10 to the U-16 Male camp (Seth Tansem, Smyth Rebman, Evan Gardner, Landon Cowper, Lynden Lakovic, Maddix Mccagherty, Ethan Mackenzie,Ryder Ritchie, Corbin Vaughan, Jaxsin Vaughan). BC Hockey has announced both the full schedule and the rosters for the Program of Excellence (POE) Provincial Camp occurring this upcoming weekend, August 19-22 at the Pitt Meadows Arena Complex.
The Lower Mainland will welcome a selection of BC’s and Yukon’s best female hockey players born between 2004-2006, and the best 2006-born male players this weekend. Both the Female U18 and Male U16 invitees will be split into three teams respectively. Over the four-day camp, the teams will participate in a variety of on-and-off-ice sessions including practices and intra-squad games. For more information: click here!
